1. Morningside, Edinburgh

Edinburgh’s plush Morningside tops the list with the highest number of premium properties coming onto the market – and with good reason. With an average asking price of £981,932 - the highest price on the list - properties in this sought-after suburb offer buyers a location that’s moments from the Old Town, with an abundance of local shops, cafes and restaurants, and beautiful green spaces like The Meadows. Alongside that, Morningside is in the catchment area for Edinburgh’s top-rated schools, making it extremely appealing for family buyers.

2. Newington, Edinburgh

Newington, just south of Edinburgh’s city centre, is the second-most popular place to find a premium property. While the city centre is within walking distance, Newington has a vibrant local scene of its own, and a leafy, laidback vibe that commands a high price.
