Belford lies in the heart of the West End of Edinburgh close to historic Dean Village and within easy walking distance of Princes Street and close to the city's main business and financial centres. Properties in Belford include traditional tenement flats, mews houses and Victorian villas.

Belford is home to the National Galleries of Scotland, which is surrounded by green space. The Water of Leith walkway also passes through Belford. 


Belford is slightly quieter than other areas in Edinburgh city centre. You'll find bars however in the nearby Haymarket and in the centre of Edinburgh itself.
