The most popular homes on espc.com in June 2025
The ten properties that made it onto June’s list of most viewed homes on espc.com attracted a total of 58,492 views, indicating ongoing strong interest in the local property market and a particular demand for family-sized houses.

Once again, houses dominated buyer interest, with nine out of the ten properties being houses and just one flat making the list. The data revealed that larger homes remain a priority for buyers, with the majority of properties offering three or more bedrooms, including one seven-bedroom home and three five-bedroom houses. This continued trend toward more spacious homes suggests buyers are considering longer-term investments rather than entry-level flats.
The price range of the most viewed homes varied from £189,950 to £1,395,000, with an average price of £541,995 - a figure close to last month’s average. This broad range reflects an active market across various price brackets, though it was weighted toward premium properties. Only three homes were priced under £300,000, reinforcing the trend that demand is strongest for family-friendly homes in higher price brackets.
Edinburgh continued to dominate in terms of location, claiming six out of the ten spots on the list, underlining the capital’s unwavering appeal. The remaining properties were located across Fife (2), Midlothian (1) and East Lothian (1), suggesting that while Edinburgh remains central to market activity, surrounding regions are also attracting significant interest - particularly from buyers seeking more space or coastal living.
At the end of June, six of the top ten homes were already under offer, indicating strong buyer motivation and swift decision-making, likely fuelled by a desire to secure a property ahead of the summer. Most of the featured homes were presented in move-in-ready condition, appealing to buyers looking for convenience and minimal renovation work. Furthermore, all ten properties were marketed using an “offers over” strategy, a sign of seller confidence and competitive buyer behaviour.
Paul Hilton, CEO of ESPC, commented:
“The latest figures from espc.com continue to demonstrate robust demand for houses over flats, with nine of the top ten most viewed properties being houses, and only one flat featuring. The preference for homes with three or more bedrooms, including one with seven bedrooms, clearly shows that buyers are seeking space, flexibility and long-term potential.”
“Edinburgh remains the heartbeat of the local property market, but the inclusion of homes from Fife, Midlothian and East Lothian also highlights interest in surrounding regions. With property prices ranging from £189,950 to £1.395 million, there is evident activity from both first-time property seekers and high-end buyers, showing that demand is strong across a wide spectrum.”
“Encouragingly, more than half of these popular homes are already under offer, which signals continued buyer confidence as we enter the peak summer months. The use of an ‘offers over’ pricing strategy across the board further reinforces the positive market sentiment for sellers in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.”
