Morningside is an area in south-west Edinburgh, neighbouring districts including Craiglockhart and Blackford. At only 10 minutes by car and 30 minutes on foot, Morningside is very close to Edinburgh city centre but far enough away to have its own identity and feel. With Morningside Road as the main thoroughfare through this District, you have a lot of great shops, cafes, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. And if the modern multiplex cinema is not your cup of tea, Morningside has its own unique cinema experience at the Dominion.

Whether you are looking for a house, flat, bungalow, apartment, new build or any other kind of property for sale or for rent, ESPC may have the one in Morningside that you are looking for.

What the locals' say

Reid Malcolm who lives in Morningside had this to say about why it is such a great place to stay.

"We love living in Morningside as it has the best of all; close to the city centre (only 15 minutes on a bus) but far enough away to feel like you are out of town with great spaces, parks and places to explore. It's close to the City Bypass if you are getting away for the weekend you are only few minutes from the open road and just 25 minutes to the Airport. The shops and restaurants in Morningside provide the perfect mix - from Waitrose to small artisan bakeries, Costa Coffee to quirky coffee shops and from Pizza Express to fabulous local fare. The area is superb for families with great schools (some of the best in Scotland) but equally fantastic for singles, couples and retirees with such a mix of places to go, things to do. The mix of residents makes it the place it is with a fabulous sense of community and local charm. You just can't beat it!"
