Hamilton is a town in South Lanarkshire. It is the fourth biggest town in Scotland and it sits twelve miles south-east of Glasgow. The town offers spectacular views as it is situated on the south bank of the River Clyde at its confluence with the Avon Water. Hamilton town has two railway stations and a bus station and it only takes twenty minutes to get to Glasgow city centre. The town is also a home to the University of the West of Scotland and also three comprehensive high schools.
