LIBBYCLEGG 1Libby Clegg

"Libby Clegg, born on March 24th 1990, is a Paralympic silver medalist and World Champion gold medalist whom competes in the T12 100m and 200m sprint.

She suffers from a deteriorating eye condition known as Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy disease. Libby has only slight peripheral vision in her left eye, and is registered blind.

At just 16, she burst on the scene at the Assen 2006 IPC Athletics World Championships, winning a silver medal and just missing out on a second medal.

The teenager from Newcastleton in the Scottish Borders was partnered by guide runner Lincoln Asquith at the World Championships - her biggest event yet." Official website
