The ten properties in our list of most viewed homes highlighted a continued strong market demand for houses over flats - nine of the properties on the list were houses, with the tenth being a two-bed flat. The data also indicated a preference for homes with greater long-term potential, with all but two of the properties featuring three or more bedrooms, demonstrating that spacious family homes are highly sought after.

Indicating a wide breadth of buyers' budgets in the market, prices ranged from £175,000 to £1,050,000, with an overall average of £525,000. A trio of properties were priced under £250,000, providing options suitable for first-time buyers. However, there was particularly strong interest in high-end homes, with five properties priced at £500,000 or above, reflecting robust activity at the premium end of the market.

The capital was well represented in terms of location, with Edinburgh home to seven of the top ten most viewed homes. The remaining three properties on the list are situated in East Lothian, two of which were located in the popular commuter hub of Haddington. And once again, there is a clear confidence in the local property market for sellers, as nine out of the ten properties were listed with an "offers over" pricing strategy.

Indicating that buyers are eager to act quickly and secure their preferred properties, six of the ten most sought-after homes were already under offer by the end of the month, with four properties remaining available.

"November's data from espc.com reinforces the ongoing strength of demand for houses, with nine of the ten most viewed properties being houses rather than flats. What's particularly notable is that all but two of these top-viewed homes offer three or more bedrooms, clearly demonstrating that buyers are prioritising spacious family homes that provide room to grow.

"Edinburgh continues to dominate market activity, accounting for seven of the top ten most viewed properties, while East Lothian's appeal remains consistent with three homes on the list. The price range, spanning from £175,000 to £1,050,000, shows that the market is accommodating buyers at various levels. However, the standout trend is the significant interest in high-end properties, with five homes priced at £500,000 or above, suggesting strong confidence among buyers in the premium segment.

"With six of these highly sought-after homes already under offer by month's end, it's clear that buyer confidence and competition remain robust. The fact that all but one of the properties were marketed as 'offers over' further underscores sellers' confidence in the strength of the local market.

While the majority of activity centres on family homes, it's encouraging to see a trio of properties priced below £250,000, ensuring opportunities remain for first-time buyers entering the market."
