ESPC announces appointment of two new board directors
We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new directors to our Board.
Jill Andrew, Partner at Connell and Connell, and Caitlin Keegan, Residential Property Legal Director at Gillespie Macandrew, will bring a wealth of insight and experience to their positions, thanks to their combined decades of experience in the Scottish residential property sector.

Jill Andrew, who joined Connell & Connell in November 2024, brings her 25 years of experience in the sector to the role. As Chairperson of the Edinburgh Conveyancers Forum and sitting on the committee of the Scottish Conveyancers Forum, Jill is incredibly active in the field. A part-time tutor on the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Edinburgh University, while also taking an active role in training and development, Jill works hard to inspire the industry’s next generation.
Caitlin Keegan joined Gillespie Macandrew as a solicitor in 2016 and has worked her way up to Legal Director. She brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked for several years as a paralegal prior to qualifying as a solicitor, and specialising in property throughout her career. Like Jill, Caitlin is also a tutor at Edinburgh University for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice and is a mentor for trainees within Gillespie Macandrew’s training programme.
The appointments replace Michael Maloco, from Dunfermline-based Maloco Mowat Parker, and Kevin McLuskey from VMH Solicitors, who are both standing down after six years each on the ESPC Board.
Jill said: “I am honoured to be joining the board of ESPC, a company I have had a connection with since I was a trainee solicitor. ESPC is considered by many to be the beating heart of the Edinburgh and Lothian residential market for both buyers and sellers, and the benefits that ESPC brings to clients from the dual Solicitor/Estate Agent mandate are immeasurable. Changes to residential property processes are being thrown at our industry by UK legislation, Scottish legislation and IT-led changes, and so it is an exciting time to be involved and to help take ESPC forward to its next chapter.”
Caitlin commented: “I have been an avid supporter of ESPC throughout my career and greatly admire its dedication to ensuring it remains the go-to resource for invaluable property market insights in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. ESPC is committed to supporting the interests of its member firms as well as proudly championing top-quality service to the public. I am thrilled to be joining the ESPC board of directors and look forward to working with the team to support their exciting future plans and help drive strategic growth.” Paul Hilton, CEO of ESPC, said: “We are delighted to welcome Caitlin and Jill to our board of directors. Both bring extensive experience and invaluable insights to the team. Their strong focus and dedication to enhancing the buying and selling experience for consumers align perfectly with ESPC’s mission. We look forward to collaborating with them and leveraging their expertise in their new roles.”
