There are also lots of lovely local eateries, including the newly opened Scotts and well-established places such as The Boathouse and Orocco Pier. Plus, for families, there are three local primary schools and a high school, which is currently getting a new state-of-the-art building – construction is due to finish next year. The amenities of Edinburgh city centre are also easily accessible, and the airport is also just a 15 minute drive away, making it an ideal location for those who work in the city centre or have to travel for work, but wish to live in a peaceful and picturesque town on the banks of the Firth of Forth.
