About Upper Largo

Upper Largo is situated in the East Neuk of Fife, resting on the southern slopes of the 290m (965 feet) Largo Law and a mile north of the shore of Largo Bay. To the visitor, Upper Largo can, initially, seem to be a single street of mostly stone built shops and houses. However, turn north north off the Main Street and you come to an attractive village green whose far end rises to the wall above which is the kirkyard of the Largo & Newburn Parish Church. There are spectacular views over the Firth of Forth. Local amenities include shops, a primary school and the Upper Largo hotel which was originally a 17th century Coaching Inn, and still retains the inn's unique features.
