Transport

Leith Walk does not have its own train station, however people who live in the southern parts of Leith Walk can walk to Edinburgh Waverley Train Station in just over 10 minutes, where they can take a train to a wide selection of locations across the UK.

There are currently four GP surgeries in Leith Walk: Annandale Medical Practice, Brunton Place Surgery, The Hopetoun Practice and Leith Surgery. There are also a few more GPs on the outskirts. Nightlife

Leith Walk has no shortage of places to go if you fancy heading out for dinner, catching up over a pint, or a night on the tiles. Residents in the southern end of Leith Walk are also within walking distance or a short taxi ride of the nightlife surrounding Princes Street and the Royal Mile. 

Outdoor Space

Dalmeny Park, Greyfield Square and Hopetoun Crescent Garden are all small patches of greenery within Leith Walk itself. 

The more expansive Calton Hill, Leith Links and Pilrig Park all lie on the outskirts of Leith Walk and are within walking distance.

Food Shopping

There is a Tesco Superstore at the northern end of Leith Walk. There is also a Sainbury's Local and Tesco Express near the southern end of Leith Walk. There are also smaller, independent food shops along Leith Walk. 

Other Shopping

There is a generous selection of independent shops along Leith Walk. Residents at the southern end of Leith Walk will also be within walking distance of Princes Street and St James Quarter. The Ocean Terminal shopping centre in Leith is a 20 minute walk from the northern end of Leith Walk.
