About Dalry

Dalry is a popular area close to Edinburgh City Centre between Haymarket and Gorgie. Houses in Dalry are mainly traditional tenement flats but there are also a number of colony houses which were built in the late 19th century as homes for artisans and skilled working-class families.

Local shops cater for day-to-day needs and the fine City Centre shops and restaurants are just a short journey away. For those working in the City Centre, a frequent bus service provides regular services, and the business area of the city at Exchange Square is within easy walking distance. There are also good transport links to Edinburgh International Airport and the M8/M9 motorway network.
