Should I sell my property in 2023?

Reviewing our latest property market data from January 2022 to December 2022, sellers are still in a good position.*
The average selling price was £284,735 up 5.8% compared to the same period last year, with 89.9% of homes selling for at least Home Report valuation. Homes are also selling quicker, taking a median time of 15 days to be placed under offer, same time as last year and 17 days in 2021.
During November 2022 to January 2023, the average selling price of property across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, and the Borders rose 5.6% year-on-year to £284,614. The median selling time was 19 days and 84.9% of properties sold for their Home Report valuation or higher.
