About The Meadows

The Meadows is an area just to the south of Edinburgh City Centre. The area is dominated by a large public park, one of the few truly open public spaces so close to the city centre. Within the park there is a children's playground, a croquet clib, tennis courts and cricket pitches.

The Meadows are ideally located for access to the University of Edinburgh's George Sqaure campus and the new Quartermile development on the site of the old Edinburgh Royal Infirmary borders the area to the north. Marchmont and Bruntsifeld are also close neighbours.
