Outside
The garden, grounds and picturesque setting are a most enviable feature and a wonderful backdrop for this stunning home. While the property provides a vast amount of space, privacy and land, the maintenance itself is very manageable, as much of the garden is now well established and flourishes naturally. From the front, a mature garden, mostly laid to lawn with planted borders is ideally enjoyed with viewpoints from the conservatory and two public rooms; this garden is enclosed by mature hedging with sheltering trees and allows access to the grazing field, which wraps around the border of the property and is approximately 1.7 acres. To the side, a low maintenance lawn which is accessed directly from the kitchen, housing two large log stores and the workshop, with a path leading out to the rear parking area and utility entrance. Adjacent and running parallel with the drive, a fantastic kitchen garden – planted with fruit, vegetables and herbs, with a gated entrance leading on to the “orchard”; currently home to young fruit trees to the far end and planted beds and seating area looking across this generous plot. The “orchard” would allow scope for further tree planting or development, and also provides access to the adjoining grazing paddock. From the driveway, the woodland shelters the entrance with the track to the bottom also belonging to the property. The track provides access to the gated entrances to the paddocks.
