We have taken the wrappings off our refitted showroom in George Street, Edinburgh, following a major upgrade to the facilities and layout of the venue.

The ESPC showroom is on one of the busiest streets in Edinburgh and it is even busier now that so many bus passengers into the city are using the George Street stops. The showroom is THE place for anyone looking for property in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian.

Commenting on the new look for the George Street showroom Malcolm Cannon, Chief Executive of the ESPC said: "The updating of the showroom has been a major project for us with the new layout allowing more room for our experts to talk to our clients, and for the clients to feel relaxed and at home when looking for their next home."Overview of ESPC showroom

Cannon continued "To allow us to bring our vision to life we had to close the showroom completely - the first time we've done this since it opened in 1971. We've taken into account that the way people go about buying and selling houses has evolved considerably over the last few years and it's essential we have a showroom that reflects this."

Looking at the changes that have been made to the showroom, Malcolm Cannon commented: "With the ever increasing use of the internet to research properties the purpose of the showroom has altered. It's no longer just somewhere people come for their schedules. Now they can talk to our range of experts in topics related to buying, selling and owning houses, such as legal, architecture and interior and exterior design, as well as our resident financial advisers who have extensive experience in mortgages. And with the property market changing since the credit crunch it is important that anyone thinking about home ownership has the opportunity to talk to a local expert to guide them through a major decision and investment."

The layout of the showroom has been re-designed to allow clients more room to browse the properties, with ESPC staff on hand to help and to answer any questions people may have.

"I have seen many different incarnations of the showroom and I'm really impressed with this new design. I have no doubt clients will feel very much at home and we are already seeing visitors are much more inclined to ask questions. With special areas where they can sit down and chat about queries with our resident experts, the new layout gives our clients as much support as possible. Buying a property is no longer just about seeing somewhere and putting an offer in, it's all about being open to negotiation and being willing to discuss the deal. Buying a home is the biggest financial commitment most of us will ever make and  our team is here to help people own their dream home."
