Last weekend ESPC’s team of six eager runners took part in Color Me Rad Edinburgh which was held at Ingliston set against the backdrop of the airport and easyJet holiday-makers taking off into the sky to their chosen destination.

Color Me Rad is a 5K that fires off in a blaze of colour bombs, colour cannons, colour mortars, and multi-toned courses. The organisers advise that whether you run it, jog it or walk it, the event guarantees that your outlook will be brighter, your boyfriend will be more affectionate, your boss will finally remember your name, the hair on your head will grow back and the hair on your back will fall out, and your grey outlook will turn green like a spring morning.  The event takes place in different locations throughout the world so be sure to look out for it on your travels!

ESPC’s Content and Engagement Executive and Color Me Rad team captain, Lisa Venter commented about the event, “I wanted to organised a fun event for members of the company where we could have a fun day out, take ourselves less seriously and have a few laughs along the way –we certainly did that as you can see by the photographic evidence of at the end!

“I would encourage all companies to take part in next year’s event as team building activity.  You don’t have to have any running experience to take part or enjoy the day, it’s all in the participation and getting yourself involved with a lot of colour!”
