About the event

We know how important it is to plan for the future at any stage of life. For this reason, we have joined forces with St James's Place Wealth Management, Scottish Building Society and a solicitor member firm to bring together experts who can equip you with the knowledge and tools to help you with your future financial planning. Kenneth Murphy from St James's Place Wealth Management will cover topics such as income from an annuity, investment ISAs, tax planning, non-pension assets and cashflow modelling, which will help you understand how to make the most of your money and assets during retirement.

Lynn Gordon and David Allan from the Scottish Building Society will discuss equity release and lending into retirement to make sure that you are in a clear position when planning for the future.

Nicky Lloyd from ESPC Lettings will provide information on the buy-to-let and rental market as an option of investment for retirement. 

A solicitor from one of our member firms will provide information on wills and estate planning including powers of attorney, trusts, tax planning, guardianship and care fees to ensure that you are aware of the available options when it comes to thinking about yourself or a family member.

After the speakers

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session when you are welcome to talk to the experts and ask specific questions or concerns relating to your individual circumstances. Information packs will be available containing useful information about the topics covered and much more.
