Why should I take independent financial advice?
Paul Demarco talks us through the value in seeking independent financial advice...
It is very important to seek independent advice in relation to mortgages, including protection, investment, pension planning and other areas such as tax advice. An independent adviser will be able to choose and recommend suitable financial products from the whole of the market.
The advantage of independent advice
For example, in the areas of mortgages and protection, the advantage of seeking this tye of advice is that we - the IFA - will be able to source and give advice on not just the most cost effective products but also the most suitable products that meet a client's needs and circumstances.
The alternative is to seek advice directly from your bank. In relation to protection directly from an insurance provider, the question to ask is 'how do I know that I have the best deals in all these areas?'. Choice here is limited to their specific products.
In summary, there are many advantages in seeking advice from someone who is an independent financial adviser. If you want advice on mortgages and protection, I would be more than happy to assist you in these areas.
